What Does a COP Mean?

COP (Coefficient of Performance) measures how efficiently a heat pump converts electricity into usable heat.

A COP of 20 means that, under the conditions where this maximum rating is achieved, the heat pump can deliver up to 20 units of heat for every 1 unit of electricity consumed. This represents exceptional efficiency and can significantly reduce running costs compared with conventional electric heating.

How Does It Work?

Unlike an electric element heater, which generates heat directly, a heat pump uses electricity to extract naturally occurring heat from the surrounding air and transfer that heat into your pool water.
